The years 2020 (and subsequently 2021) have been quite a doozy! Actually, the past few decades, centuries, and millennia have also been quite the shit show in the grand scope of things. Today as we begin to come more fully out of the pandemic, I want to reflect on the meaning of all this turmoil to the times we are living in and also to write about some good news for the future.

A Reflection on 2020-2021

The default and prefered way of operating for American society is through extroversion and the Universe gave us a powerful opportunity over the last year to force us all into introversion for a global reset. Whether the pandemic was naturally created or created via a lab in China is of no significance because Source allowed this to happen for a very good reason. I kind of liken it to our parents sending us to our room to think about what we’ve done. This global reset has forced us to look at ourselves in the mirror and assess how we are treating the planet, how we are treating other humans as well as ourselves, where we are going, and what we want for our lives both individually and collectively. The Universe is giving us a huge opportunity to take a step back and make major changes in order to shift us all on a new path towards a more loving and caring world where people find happiness doing what they were meant to do and what they want to do rather than what they are forced to do. By having restrictions put in place by governments, we are learning lessons about freedom, how precious that freedom is, and how easy it is to lose. We are learning about how precious life is when an unexpected virus can take you or your loved ones out at any given moment. Many people have experienced massive lessons and spiritual growth through immense loss of jobs, financial stability, and deaths of loved ones. We learned just how much we depend on our societal safety nets, how important those things are to getting us through life, and just how quickly things go awry should those things be taken away. We have had to dig deep to try and find our independence and self-sufficiency. Many of us have realized that we no longer want to work in jobs we hate doing, where we feel like slaves who are constantly overworked and underpaid. People are getting out of careers where they feel unsafe and unsupported by the masses and the powers that be (for instance healthcare, postal work, government, election work, corporate warehouses at places like Amazon or meat packing plants, as well as restaurants, grocery and retail work). When you work your ass off and have employers and governments who do not treat you with respect or who don’t care about your basic safety and physical and mental well-being, it turns out you leave! Extra bumps in unemployment have helped people to discover what it is like to actually get paid a living wage, and many people won’t go back to the way it was. While some people detested working from home, many others thrived on it and ultimately found that they can’t go back to working in public again. I personally found it a huge stress relief to be home and a huge time and money saver no longer having to worry about a daily commute for instance. Through natural disasters caused by global climate change and the very public death of George Floyd (and scores of other BIPOC) that brought global attention to issues of systemic racism and a racial reckoning here in the US and elsewhere, environmental and social justice issues have now moved front and center in society. The politics of the last several years have shown us all just how precarious democracy can be and that all countries run the risk of falling into authoritarianism and autocracy should the wrong people take charge of their governments and should the people fail to fight for and support democracy. None of these things would have been as impactful had we all not had time at home to reflect and pay attention to the world around us and what is going on. These things I mention have all been there before, but in our pre-pandemic go go go society, most people were too busy and/or overwhelmed with their families, social lives, and jobs that they didn’t have time to process this and react.

The New Earth and a New Age

Everything mentioned above is acting as a huge impetus for us to move into a very new space. We are moving into a new age of enlightenment, the new earth, and the Age of Aquarius. Over the past decade or so we have seen many cycles converge at the same time. Astrologically, many long term cycles are ending all at the same time. The Book of Revelations, the I-Ching, the Mayan calendar, the changing of the Yugas, the shifting into the Age of Aquarius through the precession of the equinoxes, the Saturn/Pluto conjunction of 2020 (see this fantastic article here), and the shifting into air signs for the Jupiter/Saturn cycle known as the Great Conjunction that occurred on the solstice last year (and see this article for more on that) are all speaking to the same thing.

So what is going on? Not all of these changes on the planet from the last year are just occurring through happenstance. It is divinely planned, guided, and timed. The time for humanity’s great awakening is NOW. The Universe is dumping massive amounts of new Light on the planet (and no this is not just purely physical as it is occurring on all levels). Loads of photonic and crystalline Light from the galactic center and from Source is pouring out all over the Earth and its beings in order to expand us and raise our vibration so that we all can rise up collectively. Multisensory people and intuitives all over the planet have been able to sense, see, and feel this shift (myself included) for many years now and the past few years it has rapidly intensified. These new energies are transforming and activating our very DNA (much have been labeled junk DNA because it’s function has been unknown, but there is no such thing as junk DNA). Those who have had near death experiences over the last century have continuously been given information from the other side which they have brought back to us confirming that both humanity and Mother Earth are imminently going through a process of enlightenment and spiritual growth (see here for a lot of fantastic predictions from near death experiencers). Astrologically we are now into the Age of Aquarius which is going to bring about a much different planet than what we currently see today. What are some of the themes of Aquarius? Here are some hints based on keywords that describe this sign: Individualistic, Humane, Progressive, Logical, Inventive, Scientific, Independent, Sociable, Tolerant, Loyal, Universally Loving, Intellectual, Intuitive, Brother/Sister–Hood Ideal.

How Will We Change?

How exactly we change and what exactly we end up with for the New Earth is still in flux. Humans have been given the gift of free will and every choice we make both as individuals and collectively is creating the future that us, our children, our children’s children, and ultimately us again through reincarnation will live in. Nothing is set in stone. However there are some general themes that I feel we are headed towards based on intuition, energy shifts, near death experiencers info, and astrology:

1. We are in the midst of a process of apocalypse right now on this timeline. I use this word deliberately, and I don’t want you to go into fear about it. The Latin and Greek roots of the word literally means “uncovering” or “revealing.” It does not mean destruction and “the end of the world” as our modern day religions and society have translated it to mean. This is a significant part of what the Book of “Revelations” from the bible is talking about. Also, the symbol for Aquarius is the water bearer, a human pouring water on to the Earth. The Age of Aquarius can be thought of as water washing away and purifying anything that is not serving us, allowing us to have a fresh start. Aquarius is an air sign and air in astrology is tied to communication, thought, science, and information. In other words, new information, science, thought, and communication forms are coming in to help purify and cleanse out any dysfunctional areas we need to shift. This is describing a process of “revelation.” Further, as I mentioned previously, the Universe itself is dumping and pouring multitudes of Light down on the earth. Light represents spiritual truth, knowledge, wisdom, evolution, and it is raising all of us towards higher vibrations of unconditional Love. The Age of Pisces was filled with secrets and corrupt acts done in the shadows and that will be no more as we move forward. As we have become more and more connected it has become harder and harder for this darkness to hide, and we will continue to see more and more secrets “revealed” as this process of apocalypse and revelation unfolds and the Light shines into the darkness. Humanity will begin to see that their long held beliefs, structures, dogma, governments, politics, economic systems, corporations, and religions are not what they appeared to be as more and more corruption is exposed and these systems and structures will all collapse and transform into something very different.
2. The patriarchy is going to collapse. Its days are numbered. No we are not moving back to a matriarchal society either (which is what the Earth was prior to the patriarchy). We are moving towards a perfect balance of the feminine and masculine energies that are in every single one of us. The divine feminine is returning to join forces with the divine masculine to help pull us out of the muck we have created and to bring us into balance. We are moving away from hierarchical structures and instead moving towards a lateral community based type of society that operates without using control, money, and power to dominate and enslave the masses. While I don’t necessarily mean we are going back to a tribal situation, instead it will kind of be like tribalism on a global scale, where we care about our immediate local communities while also caring about all others on the planet as ONE global community. It makes sense to me that the community based non-profit industry has exploded over the last 50 years or so as we move closer and closer to the Age of Enlightenment. People will take care of each other and value every single person regardless of whether people are family, friends, strangers, or enemies. Aquarius is all about democracy, social justice, equality, and equity so people and systems that do not provide these ideals will fall away. Unfortunately, Aquarius is also the sign of revolution so if these systems do not automatically fall away, the people will rise up and demand it. Make no mistake though, cancerous belief systems such as racism, homophobia, and mysogyny are toast in the coming years and those that perpetuate these systems of hate will be on the wrong side of history. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus which is also all about freedom. ALL people will be able to live their lives free from oppression, and ALL people will be able to live their lives as they see best to fulfill their hopes, wishes, and dreams. People will be able to work in whatever field they have talent in. ALL fields will be considered equally valid choices, and everyone will support everyone else’s right to their own free will choices for their happiness.
3. The Earth herself is expanding and going through an awakening process which cannot be stopped. She is growing and shifting herself and many signs of this can be seen on the planet from dramatic Earth changes to the magnetic North Pole shifting positions more and more rapidly. Not only will social justice become prominent, but environmental justice will as well. The Earth is demanding it, and if we do not conform, she will just shake us off like fleas. In fact, much of the Earth changes are being thrust on us because we are no longer living in harmony and balance with her and the Universe. Our negative influences on the planet are enhancing all the negative earth changes we see today. If we change, we prevent and slow much of the Earth changes and damage being done currently. Advances in technology, science, and energy will help move us toward a more sustainable way of living. We will be thinking local and sustainable when it comes to consumption, and we will be working in conjunction with nature, Universe, and Mother Earth and her creatures as we live and create on this planet. It will no longer be ok to rape and pillage the planet with no regard to ALL Life that is living on her and with her. 4. Aquarius is the sign that rules astrology so expect astrology to make a BIG comeback. It already has been over the past century, and it will continue to do so. I will write a bunch more about astrology in the future.
5. As hinted at earlier, Aquarius is an individualistic sign and individuality will continue to be celebrated. People will be free to be who they want to be. However, we are also moving into the Age of Enlightenment which will last far past the Age of Aquarius as humanity continues to evolve. As a part of our spiritual evolution, every individual will be working to move past their egoic nature. We are moving into a time when we will be operating through the power of the Love and Light of our souls in the present moment, creating our realities in sync with the flow of Life. Every human will be destroying the beast within themselves, also known as Satan (which is the ego) to move forward into the new age. This process will not happen overnight and will most likely take decades to centuries to complete depending on individuals’ and humanity’s progression forward. 6. Science and technology will continue to evolve and rapidly expand and change everything on this planet. This will bring about all sorts of wonderful advances in medicine, energy, environmentalism, healthcare, construction, transportation, and also in many other areas of life. These advances will however work in harmony with nature, the Planet, and the Universe. We will no longer attempt to play God by creating things that trash the planet, feed our egos, over consume the planet’s resources, or that enslave and harm others (including plants and animals). In fact, near death experiencers see us living in a time much simpler than we are currently living in with far less technological gadgets and doodads, a place where we garden and manifest abundance and resources through group prayer, spiritual endeavors, and energy work. If it doesn’t enhance our relationships with others, the planet, and the Universe and treat all living beings with respect and care, we will deem it a waste of time, space, and resources.
7. Finally, as pretty much all of this post implies, we are moving into a time of greater spirituality (note I said spirituality and not religion as there is a difference). The Age of Pisces saw the creation of most of the world’s main religions (Pisces is all about religion and spirituality). Jesus Christ was the ultimate symbol for the age of Pisces as fish and fisherman are prominent in Christianity and the symbol for Pisces is two fish swimming in opposite directions. Pisces is also the sign of the martyr and really we have all been martyring our true selves as we have lived like slaves to these corrupt systems which we were deluded into believing were the true reality, and that we had no other choice but to submit to. While obviously the rise of world religions has caused many problems on this planet, we are not to throw the baby out with the bath water. As we move forward into the new age, we will only raise our vibrations more and more growing even closer to Source, our Souls, and our true nature. The point of evolution is to take what you have learned and use it, adapt it, and grow it even further; not discard it all and pretend it doesn’t exist. Throwing away spirituality in favor of the false God of science is a move not compatible with the Age of Aquarius and the Age of Enlightenment. In fact, the opposite will happen and most likely we will see a merging of science and spirituality, especially as quantum physics and other fields of science begin to prove the existence of spirit, the afterlife, and Source. In the new Age, the truth will be known by all that we are ALL very powerful spiritual beings made of Love and Light. That we ALL have the power to take our own spirituality into our own hands. That EVERYONE can be their own priest, priestess, shaman, minister, rabbi, swami, imam, witch, wizard, etc. We will NOT be burned at the stake for taking our own spirituality into our own hands. We will no longer give up our power to some person or organization who tells us what we need to believe and who we need to be and what we need to do and how we need to pray or meditate and where we need to pray or meditate, when every single human being on this planet has a God given right to their own spirituality. I personally have no need for a religious building or a religious leader because I know I am my own religious leader. I can create a church anywhere, and I do create them everywhere. When everything is spiritual then church is everything and everywhere. When Life and Earth are sacred, there is no need for any special tools, people, or accoutrements. For our personal spirituality there are no rules. We create our own rules. The only rule really is the Golden Rule. Or as one of my favorite astrologers, Pam Gregory, said recently (check out her Youtube videos here or her website here), “Light is the gamechanger. Love is the checkmate.” Love and Light are all that matters.
